Well, here I am again. Now you see that when we have new stuff.....you will hear about it!!!!!
Where to start??? Our new things are all pretty wonderful, and certainly diverse.....
How about we start with Judy Tampa? Remember that I mentioned picking up a few new collections to give you more choices for the coming season....here is something really new and fresh!!! Siga and I love Judy's easy shapes and feminine colors and fabrics for spring. We see her things as pieces that you can put with many of our other collections. (You will notice the rust yard-dyed dress layered with our new Sarah Pacini skirt and sweater.) We had a hard time choosing just what to buy because there were so many pieces that we loved.....and soooo many fabric and color choices!!! We started with a few flirty little jackets and some good layering pieces that will go with anything from feminine slips to casual pants. Attention little people....the small sizes will be perfect for you!!! (I mean little people as in petite or small sizes.....)
And since we have already mentioned Sarah Pacini.....this Italian design line is always clean and sophisticated and city smart. The fabrics are mostly beautiful linens.....and one great cotton/polyester/metal fabric that is more like a plasticized polished cotton. The dress and pants and skirts all come in sizes....the sweaters are one size. Like Krista Larson, the color palette is natural.....stone and dark brown.
Wow!!! This is all falling into place really easily, because, now that I have brought in Krista Larson, I guess that can be next!!! Our new collection is stone, a really beautiful taupey shade. I especially love the way it shines in the silk taffeta... We have brought in more novelty cotton fabrics (which I know will be gone in the blink of an eye!) that will take you through the summer. There are also additional new pieces in the sky color. I have tried to put together some different outfits that show off the great juxtaposition of knits and wovens and patterns and textures.....everything from very casual to very dressed up. (And most of us know that we can wear just about anything, anyhow, anywhere.......)
Well, I don't have a way to segue into my next two collections.....but that is because this is such a diverse bunch of new stuff!!!!!.......................
ItemZ introduces a beautiful new fabric in styles that we have loved before.....the Vent Shirt, the Asymmetric Shirt, the Simple Shirt, and the Short Shirt. We have most styles in two colors, and some of them in three...........the colors being taupe, ivory, orange and black. These shirts will work with just about any great bottom, and most of them easily double as a light-weight accessory jacket when worn open!
Remember the great crinkled printed cotton tee shirts that we had last spring and summer.....well, here they are again. Our WWD refers to them as our "biker tees". We sold every single piece last season, and we have had many of you asking for them........
One of my favorite things to do is go to the San Francisco International Gift Fair. We always find great new things there and look forward to finding those special treasures. Well, this year the event was a major snore....It would have been a total disaster were it not for these great hand-printed socks that we found!!! We just love socks anyway, so it was a treat to find something so hand done..... The colors and prints are quite dramatic.....they make a definite fashion statement!!!
We also have something new from Stickball. We have sold countless squiggly pins and cherry necklaces, and now Diana has come up with something new and quite fabulous. She is making a new configuration of her signature squiggly pin, and she is using necktie fabrics to make them. They are subtle and lovely color combinations that will add a rich accessory to the right jacket or shirt.
Well, it is still winter (although this week seemed more like summer here!), but spring is on the way, and we are very ready with a lot of great stuff! Come in and see and play with us!!!!!!!!!!!
