Well, once again, we have a lot of new goodies to talk about!!!!!

Before we get to the new stuff, though, I have a few news items....

•  We are going to be fifteen years old in a couple of weeks, and Siga and I will have owned both our clothing store and the gallery for five of those, AND....we finally have a sign with our name up on the store front!!!!!!!

•  My youngest sibling, my brother Tom Koos, will be running for president in the Democratic primary in New Hampshire ! You can check him out at Tomkoos.com. He is a rather amazing man with a broad range of interests and talents, in addition to being a fabulous brother. So....if you live in New Hampshire or have friends or relatives there (and are a registered Democrat).......vote for TOM!!!!!!

•  Our friend and client Freada Kapor Klein has just had a wonderful book released: "Giving Notice: Why the Best and the Brightest Leave the Workplace and How You Can Help Them Stay.” It is very interesting, and enlightening...I am taking my time reading it to pay real attention to its message.....

NOW, we can talk about Blanque and Mad Lab and Krista Larson and Cynthia Ashby and other great stuff.........

Blanque.....Crepe......Does it get any better than that??!! We have colors and new styles!!! We have lots of black pants, many of them new ones...we do have to shake things up once in a while!? We have colors......Peacock, Cardinal, and I guess that must make the black Raven. Different styles come in different colors....you will see some of them in the photographs, and you can call to ask about the others. Mostly we have Peacock and Raven in both tops and bottoms, and tops only in the Cardinal. I especially love having new styles like the Blazer and the Cropped Pea Jacket and the wide legged Pocket Pant. Come or call early.....you know how fast it disappears!!!!!!!!

We have a new Mad Lab group from Staley Gretzinger.....perfect wear-now casuals for the season. Many of you have been looking for some fun and easy separates, and these certainly work well. Most of the pieces are a wonderful weight of black cotton knit....the others a combo of knit with novelty fabrics..... with hand-painting and appliqués in muted bright greens and blues and hot pinks. We have additional pieces that are not shown in the photos, and we don't have any drawings of them, so you can come in to try or call us about these too!!!

We have gotten in our new Holiday Collection of Krista Larson, which includes a lot of velvet and sparkles and tulle. We have Black and Rust and Sand and Smoke, all of which look great layered by themselves or as a mix of colors. We have a great selection of your favorite Venetian Camisoles, Picket Fence Shirts, and slips, slips, slips. We also have some more casual fabrics, like our Herringbone Wool, and a fabulous selection of coats!!!!! We have layered up a few outfits, complete with accessories, just to show you a few possibilities. You can be ready for that holiday party instantly without the help of a fairy godmother!!! (I do notice that some of us are already wearing and enjoying our new velvet pieces with our more casual clothes.....YEAH!!!!!!!)

My friend Kat has been busily sewing some new Pixie Bleu Vintage skirts for the holidays. Her fabrics and laces and buttons and trims make each one-of-a kind piece something to treasure for years.....and wear all the time!!!! Here we have combined one of her skirts with a Krista Larson Venetian Cami and a Cynthia Ashby Tux Coat. (I must admit that Siga almost had to tie my hands behind my back to keep me from taking this one home!)

AND how do you like the Cynthia Ashby velvet/silk tulle tunic over Krista's Long Roxy Slip? We are having a lot of fun pairing or layering pieces from our favorite designers into new outfits every day..........

We have five different and distinctive "Butterfly" tops from Catherine Bacon. We are showing you the ultimate luxury with my two favorite velvet ones....with just a simple pair of black pants and a great accessory...........

.....most of our Viktoria Chulay bags were gone by ten o'clock the day that newsletter went out! Well, we just couldn't wait to get some more, so Siga pulled out his laptop (and we know just how much I love the Internet!!!) so that we could select some new ones as well as reorder the ones that we had had. HERE THEY ARE........

If you have been in the store lately, you know that it is PACKED with goodies, even more than usual. Don't worry, there is always more comin'!!!. It is a great time to indulge yourself or to purchase gifts for special family members and friends......

We are looking forward, as always, to seeing you!!!

We extend to you and yours our best wishes for a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving holiday (yikes—that's a bit Hallmark!!!.....but most sincere!). I would wish you a Happy Turkey Day, but that misses the point....

Just have a great time with the people you love......and maybe we can all be grateful for all the good stuff in our lives.......

Celebrate!
