Well,,,,,I promised you that this would be newsletter month,,,,,and so it is!!!!! My life seems to consist of working all of the new goodies off of the rolling rack onto the floor just before new stuff arrives, and then I have to work those things off the rolling rack.....you get the idea. But am I complaining??? Heck, no! We love every bit of what is coming through the door................
Those of you who have some of the red and black Blanque pieces from the last newsletter have been telling me how much you love and have been wearing them! It really is a great casual fabric that will take you many places.......including "an evening out in Vietnam ”! (Thank you, Becky Newman!) We still have some pieces left and will be getting this fabric later in the season in new colors....
Continuing in the casual vein, but certainly great for the workplace too, is our new Blanque black and gray collection with lots of novelty to mix and match. As always, we have some styles in our basic black crepe.....but what we really love is mixing it with the nubby tweed and the textured plaid and the soft knit solid or striped tees. The new Cropped Audrey Jacket and the ever-popular Cowl Jacket in nubby tweed do double duty as either accessory or light outerwear pieces. We pair the tweed or plaid pants with our striped tee, our tweed pants with a plaid shirt, our plaid pants with a black tee........the possibilities are all in your imagination!!!! We also have the tee available (reordered) in the brown and black stripe.
I am thinking of renaming ItemZ "The Shirt of the Month". I cannot believe that these two ladies are constantly coming up with great new fabrics and colors and styles......This time we have two new shirtings. The lavender plaid silk is available only as shown, in the simple shirt. The black and turquoise in the plaid make it a natural for any black bottom. The crinkle silk actually features a great pant along with four shirts that are available in eggplant, olive, or black. Three of these styles are new silhouettes, and, of course, if there is an asymmetric shirt, we have it!
If you have peeked ahead at the pictures, you are probably wondering "What's with this broad and the tie shirt?" WELL, I am not the only one who likes it.....we have already zipped through more than half of the colors we just got!!! When we were in New York , I asked Cynthia Ashby if, just maybe, there might be a few more of them laying around??? Lucky me....lucky some of you!!!! There were small and medium sizes available undyed (as you see it) WITH a few pairs of matching pants!!!! This really is the last of them now........
...and then we come to "Casino", the new holiday collection from Staley Gretzinger. We have easy styles in an easy fabric that will take you through all of your holiday parties and travels (and everything else too!). Basic black slinky is artfully accented with shades of gold and copper and bronze in a variety of texture and sheen. The details are subtle enough to wear every day, but the pieces dress up well with lots of different accessories.

You will see us starting to get ready for the holidays soon. We are now in the full swing of Halloween.....and you know what comes next......
Siga and I are going to pull out all the stops to make it an especially festive season. We are going to have all sorts of great gift ideas for just about everybody.........all sorts of giddy and whimsical decor.......and piles of paper and ribbon to wrap it all up. We will feature some gift ideas in upcoming newsletters.....soon!!!
