I think this is going to be the month of the newsletter..........so, those of you who do not really use a computer (like yours truly) and have your husbands do a print-out for you had better tell them to have plenty of ink cartridges ready because you are going to be zipping through them!!!!!

I am so excited about these two new collections and had so much fun putting the outfits together that I totally forgot about the drawings that usually go with them!!!!! My web designer has assured me that the photos are so good that nobody will really care!!!???

We have been anxiously awaiting our Heide Ost collection from Germany , which was sitting in U.S. Customs for weeks, and it is finally here!!!!! I don't even know where to begin to tell you about how great this is! Well, I can tell you that while my friend Barbara was visiting me and helping me hang the stock, she bought a pair of pants and several accessories......and before I could get the rack off the floor, two more customers each grabbed two pairs of pants. Not to worry.....we have more than plenty. Perhaps the most amazing part of this collection is the coat. We have it pictured both long and short, and you can even turn the short version inside-out to have a bright red satin coat with a patterned bubble bottom! Clever, those Germans......the coat has a horizontal zipper around the bottom and one up higher so that you can change the length at will!!!!! The fabrics in this collection are all rather special and certainly unusual. The coat is made of a wonderful patterned fabric that also appears in a pair of pants and a couple of different short jackets. Jackets also come in a pin-wale corduroy with a floral pattern and subtle sparkles. The striped bubble skirt is a slinky/rubbery knit and can be worn with the polka dot tee as shown or with a solid black.....or even with the matching stripe. The pleated scarf can be worn a variety of ways, both long and short.....and for other accessories we also have polka dot leggings, striped belts, and polka dot or striped armlets. Majorly, majorly fabuloso!!!!!!!!! Sizes are all over the place from small through extra-large depending on the styles........

Blanque also presents us with a cool new fabric.....a crinkle made of nylon/cotton with a tad bit of something like lycra. The bottoms are all black, of course.....the very popular double-zip pant, the bell pant, the Y-pant, and a new slimmer cropped pant with a zipper at the ankle. The tops are all mostly new and all mostly red . (We do have the square-neck jacket in black!) I really love the new square-neck jacket and the more casual blazer, and we also have the manteau jacket with its high neck and our ever popular Asymmetric Mandarin Shirt. This group is casual and perfect for running around during the week or for travel when you have to be comfortable and look smart... We have gotten in a reorder of the brown/black stripe tee shirt that disappeared so fast last month. It looks really nice with the black pants from this group.

We have gotten in a couple of new "butterflies" from Catherine Bacon. This one is a gorgeous marbeled silk charmeuse with a neckline of woven silk with sequins. Our brown cut velvet is equally sumptuous...........

.......and we so love the Sarah Pacini black jacket and skirt that we had to show it to you even if it is not brand new..........

The Cynthia Ashby coats will arrive in person this week............

And did you notice how hot it got for a lot of us just as I started to talk about the cool-down of autumn and all of the great coats????????? I really appreciate those of you who braved the 86-degrees to buy them anyway!!!!!

Whew!!! That's it for now........hope to see you soon.........
